Hello! Who are you and what business did you start?

Hello! My name is Anand Mahajan, and I am the founder of WebMaxy. I started this company in the year 2022 with the purpose of launching software and tools that can help businesses to grow in their industry.

We started WebMaxy with the launch of WebMaxy Analyzer and Survey Bunny. We are looking forward to working with Entrepreneurs, Startups, SMBs, and Enterprises that want to improve their business strategies.

We have worked with more than 500+ clients in the industry till now. We have helped them to understand their customers better and drive business growth. Our main aim is to grow by helping other businesses grow.

What's your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?

As a CEO of a renowned technology development company, I get to talk to several entrepreneurs. One common pain area I figured out is the lack of affordable visitor tracking and engagement solutions in the market. This prevents SMBs from meeting their desired goal.

With a vision to help brands with a robust yet affordable solution, I planned to start WebMaxy.

It is a set of tools like WebMaxy Analyzer, WebMaxy Survey, and WebMaxy Growth that can help businesses connect, analyze, track, and convert their website visitors.

We strive to bring transparency by helping businesses make data-driven decisions.

Furthermore, I have realized that most of the similar products available offer very pathetic customer support. I have read this on several product rating sites. WebMaxy is a customer-centric solution, and we value each of our customers as a top priority.

Keeping this concept in mind, I discussed it with my experts and professional team. They suggested creating tools by starting with thorough research and statistical study of what businesses need to advance.

With an experience of more than 12 years in the industry, I understand how crucial it is for businesses to work strategically in the market to grow. However, for us, the real work started when we came to deciding upon the exceptional tool to create that has the best features.

Take us through the process of building the first version of your product.

At first, our team brainstormed different ideas and pondered upon what tool we should develop first. We wanted to ensure that this product was better than any other tool available in that specific market.

We initially began working on a user behavior analytical tool that we later named as WebMaxy Analyzer. Our team made sure that it has all the features required by a business to understand customers’ behavior. It has many features like live session recordings, heatmaps, surveys & polls, feedback, funnel view, form analytics, user insights, push notifications, and so on.

We kept the research and development process simultaneous to ensure that we incorporated any functionality that could add value to the product.

There were many other competitors in the market already, like Hotjar & Crazy Egg, but we wanted to go a cut above. We created WebMaxy Analyzer with a lot of features and ensured that we kept the pricing of the product affordable.

Describe the process of launching the business.

WebMaxy was launched in August 2022 with the purpose of helping other businesses achieve their business objectives.

We organized a small-scale event in our company in which we invited entrepreneurs, managers, and digital marketing specialists. They became our first users from startups, SMBs, and enterprises, to whom we offered a forever-free basic version.

WebMaxy’s first product, Analyzer, was in the development process for a long period of two and half years. Our team of professionals and developers wanted to launch an end product without any technical glitches or issues. Around twenty people were working full-time on the development of the WebMaxy Analyzer. The main challenge was to create a tool that has the maximum features possible for analyzing user behavior.

We ensured that WebMaxy Analyzer was easy to use for anyone without any technical training. Our team worked on the basics of the product to make its utilization easy for businesses. We made our UI/UX designers keep the design of WebMaxy Analyzer simple.

Apart from that, we thought of providing the initial training to the professionals of a business to help them use the tool with ease. We executed intensive quality checks and testing before we launched the WebMaxy Analyzer for the people. We provide a forever-free trial version that startups, entrepreneurs, and marketing specialists can try and test out for their businesses.

Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?

We started from scratch, we approached many startups, enterprises, and SMBs to try WebMaxy Analyzer for free through LinkedIn and influencer marketing.

This has helped create a buzz among SMBs. Furthermore, word of mouth worked wonders for us. At present, we receive more than 10 requests from brands to try WebMaxy every week.

The positive feedback from our existing brands has helped us expand. Our competitive pricing, advanced features, and unparalleled customer support are the reason WebMaxy gaining traction among customers in such a short period.

Most of our clients were impressed by the accurate user insights that WebMaxy Analyzer provided them. They were amazed by the ways Analyzer was able to help them to understand their website visitors and customers.

Additionally, our developed tool enabled them to identify UI/UX issues, website bugs, and broken links. Many businesses benefited from our product, and this ended up bringing us more subscriptions. Most clients started with our trial version but later took the business plan.

How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

At present, WebMaxy Analyzer is gaining popularity among customers based on its immaculate performance. We are expecting several subscriptions in the future based on the data and inquiries we received from social media and other platforms.

As businesses are discovering the advantages of qualitative data analysis, they are seeking user behavior analytics tools. Being one of its kind and affordable digital solution in the market, WebMaxy is expected to gain more popularity among users.

There are many other products that we will be launching under WebMaxy. Our focus is to create digital solutions that help businesses achieve their objectives and improve revenue flow. Our team is constantly working on developing digital solutions with the best features that help businesses drive growth.

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

For us, taking the step of establishing WebMaxy was a challenging task. However, we were determined to develop digital products that were comprehensive and had the best-advanced features. We wanted to make ourselves stand apart from competitors, and to get an edge over them, we had to work hard.

The best decision that we took was to take time to research and analyze the market. Our development process was lengthy, but it was all worth it. The final product that we launched received a positive response from our target audience. Not only that, we were able to deliver a value-oriented digital solution at a cost-effective price.

In the entire process of launching WebMaxy, we found scope for many other digital products. The statistical research that we conducted led us to find the areas of improvement in the way other existing digital solutions were working. Our experts’ team put their minds into coming up with new and better ways of developing tools that deliver results.

What platform/tools do you use for your business?

We have used several platforms and tools for our business for different functions. Zoho CRM and Calendly are among the few. There are many other tools that we have used for social media. Some of the other popular tools that we have used are Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento.

What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?

Being a working professional in the industry for the past 17 years, I have worked with several platforms and tools. I have seen the industry evolving very fast with technological advancement.

I am a software engineer, and I understand the technical aspects of things. I have seen that there are many distinct tools for different functions in the market. Purchasing them all for different needs adds up to the overall cost that we spend in the initial stages of the business.

I wanted to resolve this common issue faced by businesses by creating value-driven digital products. I won’t consider any books, podcasts, or other resources as the most influential factor but my own will to help other businesses.

Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?

The best advice that I could give to other entrepreneurs would be to think precisely and evaluate the market before starting. Taking the first step in the right direction is very important to make your business successful. Know that the only way to survive in the market for the long haul is by offering the best to your customers.

Don’t just focus on being successful but try to create user-oriented solutions. When you aim at providing what your customers need, want, and expect, you automatically end up becoming successful. Apart from that, focus on quality and the cost-effectiveness part of your product. Over-priced and expensive products never get the attention of the customers in the long run.
