The Confused Millennial went through two major shifts since we last connected!

The first was a switch to focusing strictly on SEO and affiliate marketing as The Confused Mom after becoming a mom myself. I launched a Youtube channel primarily focusing on baby and toddler product reviews and montessori parenting that coincided with the original TCM blog. I saw great success with the niche-down approach, including generating over $5 million dollars in sales for brands I've worked with in a few short years to expanding my reach.

But, with the changes to the SEO landscape and rise of AI, it's clear the old blog/SEO strategy wasn't going to last much longer. I recently made the difficult decision as a blogger to let go of "the confused" brand and change my brand/domain to Confidently Mom. This has significant impacts/implications for a business like mine, but with the SEO and Google changes dipping my traffic, it seemed like the perfect time to shift to a name.

Confidently Mom is more aligned with who I am/what I do as I've often heard over the years my name doesn't fit. This switch comes with exciting changes moving beyond affiliate marketing and passive ad revenue to my own products in 2025 and starting to re-introduce a social media strategy which I had totally let go of since 2020!

Right now I feel like I'm in this beautiful place after being in this industry for 8 years, overcoming creator burn out, and re-discovering how to have a personal brand (really the first half of my blog) with more targeted strategies that have worked the last 4 years to make something that helps even more people.
