What I’ve Been Up To: The Most Exciting Year for Resume Assassin Yet!
2024 has been an awesome year for Resume Assassin, filled with growth, innovation, and incredible opportunities to connect with job seekers worldwide. As a career strategist and entrepreneur, I’m thrilled to share some of the highlights that have made this year one of the most exciting yet for my business.
Launching a Podcast: Resume Assassin Presents Recruiting Insider
In March, I launched my podcast, Resume Assassin Presents Recruiting Insider, and it has been an absolute blast! This podcast features conversations with LinkedIn Top Voices, thought leaders, and recruiters—many of whom have followings ranging from 4,000 to over a million. We dive deep into all things related to job searching and careers, offering actionable insights and strategies for job seekers.
Through these interviews, I’ve been able to meet some incredible people, share engaging stories, and provide real-world advice to listeners navigating today’s competitive job market. The feedback has been phenomenal, and I’m so excited about the impact this platform is having on job seekers everywhere.
Innovating with Resume Sidekick: AI-Enhanced Resume Builder
Another major milestone this year was the launch of Resume Sidekick (www.resumesidekick.io), a subscription-based resume builder powered by AI. With this tool, job seekers can quickly create multiple tailored, ATS-friendly resumes directly within the platform.
I’m especially excited about a new feature coming in early 2025—a one-hit-wonder resume builder! Imagine pulling a slot machine lever and having your resume regenerated in 30 seconds, perfectly tailored to a specific job posting. Expanding Services with a Group Job Search Coaching Program
In addition to my 1:1 resume writing and LinkedIn optimization services, I launched an epic Group Job Search Coaching Program this year. This program has been an incredible opportunity to share the secrets I’ve gathered about the job market and what truly works to help people land their dream jobs.
Combining my 10+ years of experience and insights from working with thousands of job seekers annually, this program equips participants with:
- An ATS-friendly resume tailored to their target roles.
- An optimized LinkedIn profile designed to attract recruiters.
- Effective networking strategies to help them connect with key decision-makers.
But that’s not all—participants also receive:

Launching a 1:1 Interview Prep Program
This year, I also introduced a 1:1 Interview Preparation Program that pairs clients with coaches boasting over 15 years of HR experience. The program is designed to take the fear out of interviews and replace it with confidence and strategy.
During these sessions, clients receive 70 minutes of dedicated coaching. This includes:
- Interview preparation, focusing on research, storytelling (using the CAR Method), and crafting compelling responses to key questions.
- Mock interviews with real-time feedback to help clients refine their delivery, body language, and overall presentation.
The program’s personalized approach ensures clients are not only prepared but also energized and ready to tackle interviews with poise. It’s been a game-changer for so many job seekers who want to take their skills to the next level.
Reflecting on Growth and Looking Ahead
As I reflect on 2024, I can confidently say that this year has been about pushing boundaries, stepping out of my comfort zone, embracing innovation, and finding new ways to empower job seekers. From launching cutting-edge tools like Resume Sidekick to creating programs that provide actionable results, I’m just getting started.
