Tell us about what you’ve been up to! Has the business been growing?

It’s been a year since we last talked, and I’m excited to share some updates about Plasfy. As the solo founder, I’ve been deeply involved in every aspect of our growth.

First off, revenue has doubled, which is a huge milestone for me. Plasfy now boasts hundreds of user reviews, and I’m genuinely grateful for the amazing feedback and support I’ve received. I’ve had so many users reach out to thank me for the new features and the speed improvements - those messages really keep me going.

Over the past year, I’ve added a ton of features, including our new AI Video Builder and AI Image Generator. These tools have made a huge impact, helping users create even more impressive designs and videos. Initially, I included these features in the main product, but due to their high costs, I decided to split them into three separate components.

This allowed me to reduce the price of the main product, which led to more customers and users. The AI features are available as upgrades now, so those who don’t need them can stick with the standard features. This adjustment really turned things around, helping us recover from a sales slump and resulting in a lot more feedback and reviews from our growing user base.

The biggest reason for our growth over the past year has been paid ads. I initially reached out to many people for help with scaling ads, but everyone said they would not be able to scale the ads effectively.

So, I decided to dive in myself and learn how to handle Facebook ads. I did lose some money in the beginning while testing different strategies, but I saw it as part of the learning process. The results weren’t great at first - yes, still profitable, but not outstanding.

After some intense optimization of the ad campaigns and creatives, mainly with new video ads, the ads are now running smoothly on autopilot, bringing in new users and paying customers with fantastic returns on ad spend (ROAS).

One thing that really gets me out of bed in the morning is building more personalized relationships with my users. I wanted to dive deep into understanding their needs and make sure Plasfy is hitting the mark. It’s been incredibly rewarding to connect directly with people and see how they’re using the platform to reach their design goals.

As a solo founder, managing Plasfy along with other products and brands has definitely been a challenge. Plasfy isn't perfect, and the platform and I have faced our share of hurdles, but we’re making steady progress.

With my parent brand Jasrati, we've seen absolutely huge growth, especially over the last few months since I started paid ads. It’s been the most successful period since I started back in 2015.

It’s been a busy and exciting year. I know I’ll probably need to delegate support and other tasks soon, but for now, I’m all in on maintaining momentum, learning from our users, and continually improving Plasfy.
