Liron Shapira and Lior Gotesman co-founded Relationship Hero, a relationship coaching platform, in 2017.

The app matches you with coaches who specialize in the areas where you need assistance, and coaches provide actionable advice tailored to your situation. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for ongoing assistance as you travel.

The idea for this business came from co-founder Liron looking to solve a problem. He has had a terrible dating experience and would get frustrated about how to use these dating apps.

Liron would turn to his friend Lior (now co-founder) for dating advice, and he would work as his dating coach, guiding him with what to write & how to plan a date.

Liron has been working on this startup, Relationship Hero, since 2017, and they began in the Summer of 2017 at Y Combinator.

So when it first started, it was essentially a chat room where people could upload screenshots, much as he would with his friends, to know how to engage the other person in a conversation.

Later they decided to add the coaching feature and charge for it separately, which they were giving away for free earlier.

As the business grew, the founders hired coaches from outside totally based on their skillset & background so that they could help more and more people get relationship coaching while seeing more profit.

Relationship Hero has grown into an international service and has helped more than 50,000 clients. The platform has approximately 50 client segments and is still growing.
